Gospel Singing
As I sit here waiting for this to end, I thought I would dispense some sagely wisdom.
If you aren’t into gospel singing, and you are forced to go to one, what is you should do is…..
Jump off a cliff. Make sure there are rocks at the bottom, because you don’t want to live through it.
Man thank god I have my laptop and a net connection. At least I can get through my email chat with some people.
For those that don’t know, Edmonson County High School has built a new auditorium. It is really nice, but right now they have it waaaaaaaaay under priced and these gospel groups keep renting it, trying to make money. Me being the sucker that I am, I got pulled in to be one of the people responsible for it. I thought it meant that I was going to get to run the cool light systems and play with the sound system, instead I am a janitor who makes sure that doors are locked and that the lights are off.
Smile Oh well at least it is good music…. er… no wait… nevermind.
The other thing that I don’t understand is that they people that keep talking about how great it will be to be with Jesus and how awesome heaven is, in the next breath talk about how happy they are to still be alive and with their church. Isn’t that kinda backwards?
And… for you South Park watchers…. No Faith+1 hasn’t been here yet.

Live from Norristock
(Evening one)
Well most everyone that is going to be here was here. Jeremiah hasn’t arrived yet, but he is supposed to sometime today.
It was a great time so far, even though it has actually been pretty chilly here. Since there were fewer people coming, I told Jim it would be cool for him to bring Sabra and Amber with him. So we have gotten to see them some and since Jim likes to have some time to ride on the 4-wheelers by himself, me and Sabra have been partners on that. Which I don’t mind at all. It is nice to have someone to talk to while we are riding, since I have been on these trails at least more than once. Smile
Zuhli and Frank both got here with, what I believe to be, only minimal trouble. Zuhli got here around four and Frank a little closer to seven. We played a couple games of pool and headed out to ride on the four wheelers some. We were doing all this at night with the headlights on, so that provided for some key entertainment value at different points.
We headed back inside after a while and played some ping pong, where the team of Frank and Zuhli had me laughing so hard that I couldn’t even hardly play. After so many games of Ping Pong that Frank couldn’t even care about it anymore, we headed inside and played some Halo. By then it was around 2 am or so and we all called rolled into bed and crashed out.
Now it is a new day with new adventures…..

Thank god we have the reactionary Press…
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/08/04/manhunt_murder_claim/
This really just pisses me off. There are a couple things here that need to be looked at.
1. The parents of the murder victim obviously had no idea what games there son was playing, since he was the one that was playing the game that they called
a manual for murder
They also stated that the murderer was “obsessed” with the game. How the hell would they know? Where did they get this information? Apparently, the kid didn’t even own a copy of the game, so how does that deem him obsessed? They didn’t even have a clue what video games their kid was playing, why would the media assume that they knew what other people’s kids were playing?
2. The media didn’t even bother to check. A copy of a violent video game was found somewhere. *sarcasim* Well of course it had to be the murderer’s copy and of course it had to be the reason that he killed him. No need to check with the police to see if that is what actually happened.*sarcasim* AND the parents and the media were so emphatic that this was the reason that the got game stores to take it off of the shelves!!!
It is freaking retarded. There should be cash fines for stupidity like this. When people say things that they have no proof of and that turn out completely wrong and ignorant we as a people should be able to fine them for it. This is a perfect example of sheep mindset. People have said that video games might be the reason that people kill people, studies have shown that it isn’t true and yet people still are able to spew out bullshit and have it accepted as the truth.
