Unemployment and family ties

I spent the weekend in Indiana, catching up with Kim on Friday, Jim and Sabra on Saturday and Grandma and Joe today (Sunday). Saturday was spent with Jim and Sabra at Mounds park and playing Putt Putt Golf. The evening was closed out with two games of Monopoly, in which I didn't win anything and watching the finish to the NASCAR race at Bristol. This morning me and pauline got up and headed over to my Grandmothers to spend some time with her and Joe (her husband). I had a good time and it was nice to spend some time with them. They gave me some dockers and a couple shirts which I greatly appreciate, but I walked out of there with two more things that in the end I think I will value more. One was more memories to keep and good times with them and the other was a diary kept by my great-grandma on my dad's dad's side. This will help a bunch with the stuff I am writing about how we got the farm and how things went. I am hoping to translate it to electronic medium, though I am not sure how long it will take.
