Well technically it is a girl, but someday I am sure that she will be a lady. J I sent everyone that I had cell phone numbers for a text message this morning when I found out. We called some other people too. Some of the less tech endowed people. J
We also got a video of the ultrasound and there is a lot of information in there that I think people might want to see. Mostly it is of the two arms, two legs variety, but it is neat to see as well. There isn’t much in terms of audio though, so I am currently working on an audio track to go with it, but for right now I am just going to post the video out here for anyone that wants to look at it. It is about 86 megs of video encoded into flash. I decided to youtube style it so that it would work for everyone.
hey is the such a thing as taking some still-shots of the different important parts of the video so that we could get some cool pictures also?
Awesome! You should probably start building that tower you’re going to keep her in until she’s 30 right now. 🙂
Also it’s a neat retro effect to see a flash encoded video run into what it was recorded over. The 2 seconds of comedy central freaked me out for second.
That isn’t exactly what happened, but I admit that is the effect that it created.
Actually what happened is that I plugged the VCR into my mythbox where the DirecTV receiver normally is. Then I told it to record a show and when the Ultrasound was done, I unhooked it and hooked the DirecTV back up. Then I told it to stop recording the show and went in to edit the recording down to just the Ultrasound. Apparently though, because of having keyframes or something, MythTV won’t let you cut the very last few frames off of a recording. So that little Comedy Central blip had to stay.
I have the tower started. One row of blocks are down, but I am having trouble getting the automatic target tracking machine guns ordered and every place I looked Sharks with Frickin Laser beams are on back order.
I am starting to think that I might not be able to get them and I might have to settle for sea bass. 🙂
