Hey I’m married

With like three times as many people as I thought would be at my . :-)

P and I got at 9ish this morning. The “Ceremony” took all of 9 minutes too. It was the best I have ever been too.

Here is a link to the movie of it. Did it pretty quick so it is a Quicktime movie. Sorry.

**Update**

I am still working on getting the movie redone with better quality and stuff. I have gotten some pictures up though. They are in the or at the link below.

Wedding Pictures

**Update 2**

Got the directors cut of the wedding video up now. Includes deleted scenes and nearly a double runtime. Quality is better, but size is bigger (75 megs) If anyone has good upload speed and wants to host a torrent or something that would be cool. I also encoded it with Divx this time, so maybe a little more playable around the net.

Live and let die

Congress called a special session and passed a law to save a person’s life. They literally rushed back to argue about this and force it through. President Bush then burnt the midnight oil to make sure he signed it. All of this to save a woman’s life who over a hundred doctors have said is in a “Persistant Vegatative State”. Meaning that according to all these doctors this woman has no distinctive brain activity.

Ramblings of the Insane

Here is the collection of thoughts and tales that have been piling up here in my head, pick the ones you want and comment about them.

Got a new cell phone from Edmonson County Schools, emails will be going out soon.

PDA is nothing less that phucking awesome. There are some things that are annoying about it, but I just chock those up to hating MS and go one with my life.

I picked up the Linksys Wireless Access Point/Router/Switch/Coffee Maker/Best Friend/Roomate the other day and it is pretty nifty. Works well with the PDA once you open your eyes and install it correctly.

Mark Hicks, a friend of mine and owner of JMH Webbing got over the weekend. It was a nice ceremony and I caught the garter at it.

While at the I learned the AFNI-BG has been having severe network issues for the last few days and has lost a bunch of money in an attempt to upgrade the network that I talked about previously using equiptment that was from another call center which they couldn’t get to work.

I also found out the management is being restructured inside AFNI and Shane will no longer be a manager of the BG Call Center. I would say that is good news for Cheyenne and others that will no longer be under his thumb, but hey is that really my place anymore?

Work continues at Edmonson County and we are starting to dig ourselves out of the hole that having only one person on the job can create. Currently the schools are on Fall Break so that gives us two weeks to gets some work done.

I have been working on “archiving” DVDs and have found some really sweet software for linux that will do it for me rather nicely. I hope to be posting more about this soon.

Since maybe I don’t do it enough, I would like to thank maxx for hooking me up with the forums and everything. I would also like to thank Zweix Internet Solutions for that as well.

I miss all the posters for this page. C’mon guys get your talk on.

People I haven’t heard from lately: Frank Miles, Jeremiah Byrd, Todd Schaefer, Seth Johnson, Mike Lamont. Where you guys at?

New Xbox Game : Outlaw Golf. Quick Review: It Rocks out, if you play games on the xbox get it.

Also since I still get mail about AFNI due to this page, I would like to also post that I got some mail from one of the before mentioned Tucson Techs that got fired and he said that he was fired for the joke email that came out and that the also told him he was fired for what he said in the reply to Jeremiah’s email. So despite what I was told they did get rid of people due to that.

2001-09-01

Got a couple of things to talk about today. One is the fact that my Aunt Rose is doing somewhat better. I am not sure if it is a recovery, but she is still with us. The second thing is that I found out that Todd is having a kid. It is due sometime around May of next year. While I am happy for him that also started a line of thought on my end that I was not expecting. For some reason I had always unconsciously thought that whatever kids we had would grow up together just like we did. I am not sure why I thought that. I guess it was the unconscious me thinking that no matter what Todd and I would end up living near each other. I now realize that isn’t going to happen much since he is having a kid now, lives no where near me, isn’t going to be able to for about 6 years, I have not started a (i.e. gotten married) and I am not sure that I will be in a position to do so for a bit. Also here is something else that it started. I don’t want my kids to grow up in Ratville Kentucky or wherever the I might end up living around here. I liked the way I grew up. Surrounded by houses with other kids and friends. A place where you weren’t afraid to play in the street because it was not located on a Highway or anything. I don’t want my kids to have to worry about traffic and have to ride for 10 minutes to get to the nearest kids . I am sure there are places like that in Kentucky, but I don’t think that they are in Buerksville or anything. So now I have another goal in my life.
